Finally some Psychic Support?

Once per turn, when a player activates the effect of an effect monster, if their opponent controls a Psychic-Type Monster(s), their opponent gains 500 Life Points. If their opponent does not, their opponent must discard 1 card.

So wait, i'm a little confused.
their opponent selects one face-up Psychic-type monster they control.
"they" meaning the player who activated the effect, or the opponent?

Try this
When a player activates the effect of an effect monster, if their opponent controls a Psychic-Type Monster(s), their opponent gains 500 Life Points. If their opponent does not, their opponent must discard 1 card.

I'd say make it once per turn. I don't like the idea of being capable of getting like a +3 by activating 3 effects in a single turn. Also, it's pretty inevitable there will be some kind of ridiculous combo that will allow you to murder your opponent's entire hand in the very first turn, which is basically an FTK because your opponent won't be able to recover. If you make it once per turn, I think it'll be fairly okay, because despite it being a blatant +1, your opponent gets to chose what he discards and in most decks there are plenty of cards that need to be in the grave. Naturally, it'll still be rather strong, because you seriously can't underestimate the power of a +1 every turn.

I edited it to make it so the player selects which effect they want to activate it off of.

Now this card is kind of laggy and not-so-usable as it once was. I mean, since you activate it and it's not continuous or automatic, you would never activate the card if your opponent controlled a Psychic, and only when they actually didn't to gain from the effect.

Agreed, changed back to once per turn automatic
