Infestation Dracomancer is okay with 2000 ATK considering you don't get to use it's efffect along with it's Attack because of the Defense Position switch.

Diamond Head's mill effect seems okay for what it is.

Is Primordisaur's effect during your Main Phase only, or can you activate it during the opponent's turn too?

Stingerwing is rad as all hell.

Primordisaur would activate like any other monster, it won't activate during your opponents turn, or in response to opponents cards unless it specifically states it can. So yeah, Main Phase only.

I don't like that this is optional. Even if you're ok with breaking the 1900 ATK for Effect monsters rule I think it has too much ATK for that effect.

I really like this card, although the effect is on the borderline of "extremely useful" and "too useful".

I think it depends on how much use the card can get actually. The effect is strong but I have to see how it's applied to a basic deck to decide if it's going to cause some major problems.

Otherwise it's a good "boom headshot" card for the insects.

Well it's either a Vanilla beater, or a Gadget that will almost certainly be ran over. It's ATK means nothing if you're searching with it.

Meh, it was a random idea for Mill, I don't really care about it that much.

An argument as to why it might be broke would probably be preferred to outright murder. With Extortion, Diabolus, Scrap then peoples personal techs for removal, you're likely going to have to crash this to get anything out of it, and even then, all it would be doing is levelling out a field full of monsters your opponent has. I'm not even sure it's that splashable - it's a 3 card investment to make full use of that will likely take up the Normal Summon/Set that is of the utmost importance to most decks - a lot of things need to get their power cards on the field quickly and it's their Normal Summons that put them in place. When they do, Stingerwing would be an afterthought, or a card you'd prefer to be protection for your field. The only places I can say for sure that Stingerwing would have a home is Insects (a more control-focused approach, mind you - not a build that focuses on a quick Vermin Raiser) and at slightly more of a stretch (due to BSL existing) Stun/Anti-Meta.

so yeah, convince me because i just see a cool floater that might be a cool tech if you have the room and you don't have something much more pressing that would take priority if you were to have both at any given moment.

If I were to make this card I would give it 1900 ATK. It's just the fact that it's optional, you're giving a positive effect to the highest acceptable ATK for a Level 4 in the game. Sorry but I see a problem with that.

To that other card:

Because it encourages excess monster removal - For once when someone tries to destroy something in battle they lose advantage while your opponent's field remains untouched. They'll have to waste those resources on something so easy to get out, instead of on Synchros / Xyzs / Tribute Monsters / anything else. I just think it's bad for the game.

Yes, it's optional which means choosing not to activate it's effect means you're summoning a 2000/0 vanilla. If you choose to activate it's effect, it's a Gadget that gets run over. It's only positive effect means effectively wasting your Normal Summon on a meatshield. IMO, you're reading too much into the stats and the "highest acceptable ATK for a Level 4 in the game" than its effect and playability.

It encourages monster removal in a game where monsters are summoned at an insanely quick rate - it's so easy to spam boss monsters and synchro's that it's almost unreal. What this is, is a clunky swarm blocker that requires A - Use of Normal Summon/Set. B - not drawing into multiple copies. C - not being blown to shit by the 1-4-1 removal everyone runs in multiples.

I don't see why there would be a problem with the Dragon - Vespid, I can understand concerns but it's a engine that most decks can't make space to run, and gives slower control decks a way to fight back against an overwhelming field.

So, when you first Normal Summon it, that's the only time you can activate it's fetch effect? Well, I guess I can see how that would be okay to have 2000.

And I am okay with Vespid, I just got the "I've never seen a card effect like this" jitters. Kind of like when Dark Horus first came out and I was like "holy shit this thing is fucking evil" and then I used a Dark Horus deck and went "oh, boo."

And the same thing happened when D.D. Warrior Lady came out during UDE's reign over Yugioh.

Card Effects are far more powerful when first written than they are played, unless they are obviously overpowered. They have a Shock factor to them.
