Siding and the Meta

In this thread, we discuss about cards that should be used in the side deck.

Skipping Icevale witch, Sacrosanct graveyard, Black raven of the Grave, Nox Exploiter, Hellcrescent Strix, Suppression, and Eccentric Electron because of the fact that everyone has already used those cards.

I think Psy-Crush can be a good side board against spam decks. Any other suggestions? Also, what decks should you side against currently?

A Solemn World is a strong side against Icevale as it shuts down there field spells.

I quite disagree. With Salvation ban, the best build is the fieldless build, since you can't set up for huge pushes with all hallow as easily, and the sunken ship build lost their first turn Frost Breather play, making them meh compared to the fieldless build that run more traps in place of dead cards.

interdimensional is a huge sleeper deck and solemn world on vortex butchers them entirely

big shield locker has potential. was playing against leo the other day, fieldless icevale vs pteryx and he had me locked under until i was able to twister it away. had he not previously burned his lifeforce shield, i think i would have lost that game

In another topic, Big Shield Locker is crazy good. I don't know why people seems to overlook it.

i'm actually maining 2 locker in pteryx atm, might bump him to 3.

can't think what else he'd really fit in though

battle in the afterlife is quite nifty
also, things like endless dissension/id treaty/depraved extortion
and splitting cut/sheets of sound/trap-setting dud are also things that can be considered

Practice Dummy is really nice and can be sided out with little to no hampering to your deck.

Now that Icevale Witch is at 0, we can happily say....

Betrayal for decks that use monsters with the same attributes, such as Chaos mixes, Nox and Icevale.
