Ban-List Discussion 1/3/2013

Due to lack of overall playing, there's not really anything comes to mind apart from Advanced Fusion Art to 1/0.

Feel free to suggest anything else.

Reign of Magic - I'm sorry, but this limited card either needs to be banned or nerfed. Soup used it in one of our duels and +2'd per turn, at least.

+2 is just mocking the card's ability. It's still searchable even at 1. even if it's not getting the hammer now, it just begging to be abused by future decks(like super rejuvenation in incarnate dragons), thus limiting card design.

well i always thought that giving your opponent draws too was relevant enough for it to stick.

also, it's not like it's reign's fault that it's searchable

anyway, can we talk about cards that can go out of the banlist?

and just asking about can phoenixian flower be back @1? 1 doesn't make the crazy plays from sudden bloom, eventhough its recycleable by the field spell.

flower is too good. it can't come back. it might have been really good in phoenixian but it was a generic from hand synchro or a generic +1 from your deck.

maybe possession to 3.

heretic isn't really a problem card by itself, it's no more broken than wulf.

rabisu could move up again, since zombie's have kind of dropped out of usage. we could try it @2

skullblade is a little more debatable, being a free tutor on summon and a recurring beater. triple skullblade also means you're likely to be wrecked by interdimensional cross a lot.

Why is Reign of Magic being considered?

Soup used it in a duel and gained ridiculous advantage.

eventhough t'was only a test. ah, but i think its better to test it for realsies this format. since last format no-one used an actual deck with reign in it.

One play alone isn't enough to warrant a ban, lucky hands do happen after all.

well it's not like this is the first time it's been a problem - it is already limited after all and already could have justification for being banned.
