What happens if they Assimilate your Rose before you can use it?

doesn't matter rose triggers in grave and assimilator only changes the card while its on the field based on its wording

even then, the deck has plenty of ways to beat over or disrupt opponents assimilators

updated build, main changes are:

+3 Depraved Extortion

the last of us is nice when floating roses for sure, but depraved is much less restrictive. the last of us is only great when you open ideally and can entirely control game tempo to make it live when drawn - extortion is just the best 1-4-1 removal card

Playing Wrath of the Mountain

deck is good at floating and setting up small combos but seems to be missing an in-deck powerhouse. almost the entire deck here is earth and it triggers rose for its own summoning condition and then provides me with removal that helps facilitate requiem and circle. above everything else though, it straight-up removes a threat on my turn (something extortion can't guarantee)

smaller changes are some adjustments to my trap line-up to accommodate 2 change stance which in testing has been very useful
