LCCG Cardmaking Competition, March 2013 version!
This thread is about LCCG cardmaking competition suggested by Dylan(Soulfire).
RULES:
1. Make custom cards in YVD format so you can make a 40 cards deck with 15 extra deck. The deck must only consist of cards that you make. Extra deck cards doesn't have to be able to fill the 15 slot. Submitting without any extra deck cards is allowed, but is not recommended.
2. The cards created must be balanced in itself and must have a balanced interaction with the other cards.
3. The cards will be judged by other members of the LCCG.
4. Archetype is not recommended, but still allowed, provided it's not too exclusive.
5. Ah, and after the judging, we can create a mini competition where each person use their created decks just for fun.
6. Hmm, and also try to make it different from cards that already exists in the LCCG.
7. The winner gets bragging right.
8. Deadline is 21st March 2013.
9. After the deadline, no more changes to cards is allowed, and then each participant can start reviewing other participants card.
10. Review format is:
-Theme Review + 1 to 10 rating for these categories: Creativity
-Individual cards review + 1 to 10 rating for each cards for these categories: Balance, Usability, Interaction, and Creativity
-Deck Review + 1 to 10 rating for these categories: Usability and Creativity
- Overall review + 1 to 10 rating for these categories: Balance, Usability, and Creativity
Then, add the final score for that person. The final score per person is the average of all the scores above.
Spoiler the review for each person, and you must quote the post that you're reviewing.
11. Reviews is posted on a new thread, and the review session is over at 28th March 2013. Please keep it in one post (except if there's a character limit).
Ah, maybe I'm missing something. If anyone feels like adding an additional detail, feel free to post it.
Discussion may start now.

Re: LCCG Cardmaking Competition, March 2013 version!
do we post the cards in YVD format? I already have 40 ready + 15
Re: LCCG Cardmaking Competition, March 2013 version!
Cards must be Creative, Serious, and Balanced.
No Joke, Pop Culture, etc. Cards.
Use cards that you would submit to a set.
Everyone must say what style their deck will be so we don't have similar decks in the end.
and yeah it would be best in YVD format, Posted as follows:

Re: LCCG Cardmaking Competition, March 2013 version!
ah, what about cards that strictly follows the same theme and effect, is it considered an archetype?(TCG's LIGHT plane, charmers, etc)
and how far can the pop culture definition be stretched?
is subtle reference, or even non subtle ones is ok?
Can a card have a joke-ish name but still useful? since the TCG does that a lot.

Similair theme is okay, but the cards can't directly reference eachother by name
subtle is fine
joke names are fine, not joke effects
