So since we are a CCG which is based off the ancient art of "screw Konami" , we might as well come up with some cool alternative to Speed World (cause it sucks, tbh)

I has an idea. "Dynamic Duels". These are the rules, as if it's in card form.

A Player gains 1 "Ability Point" at the start of their turn. Players can Normal Summon or Set monster(s) whose combined levels are equal to or less than the number of Ability Points they control.


What does this mean? This means a major change in gameplay. We would have to have a different .set for cards under this duel style, cause Tribute Summons are a thing of the past, and some cards (Brain Eating Mushrooms) become broken.

This also means:
* People start using MUCH more low level monsters
* People start using more high level monsters
* Games start out slow and get faster
* Levels will have to be decided more carefully

And of course the cards that affect Ability Points:

Sticky Swamp
Normal Trap
Activate when your opponent summons a Level 3 or Lower monster. Decrease their Ability Points by an equal amount.

Some card ideas

Dynamic Boost
Normal Spell
Increase your Ability Points by 4, until the End Phase.

Wellspring Mole
Beast | EARTH | Level 2
When this card is Normal Summoned, Draw 1 Card.
[ 600 / 400 ]

Pendulum Passer
Psychic | WIND | Level 2
When this card is Normal Summoned, increase your Ability Points by 1.
[ 400 / 600 ]

Tombolo Turnpike
Machine | WATER | Level 1
While in your hand or on the field, this card's Level is increased by the number of cards in your hand. When this card is Summoned, increase your Ability Points equal to half this card's Level (rounded down)
[ 1000 / 600 ]

I realize that we don't pay for the normal summons by Levels of the monsters but this will impose the idea that many cards require AP reductions more than boost.

Please elaborate? Reducing AP is a new control element, but i don't see how it's necessary, since you could just as easily control their field presence, or the # of cards they draw, etc.
