Venom Monsters Empty Venom Monsters

I've seen the cards and gotten into some pretty nasty tangles with them myself... And I can say that the Venom archetype doesn't get enough credit. So I came up with a few ideas for additions to that group. This way, you're one step closer to building an all-out Venom deck without having to include others that could possibly backfire on you, or having a Deck balance that borders on, uh, terrifying.

1. Venom Viper (Reptile/DARK/Effect Lv.4 ATK/1350 DEF/600)
You can switch the target of an opponent's monster's attack or the effect of a card to this monster. When this card is destroyed by battle, place 1 Venom Counter on the monster that destroyed it. When this card is destroyed by a card effect, place 2 Venom Counters on monsters your opponent controls (they can be placed on the same target).

2. Venom Rattler (Reptile/EARTH/Effect Lv.2 ATK/1100 DEF/400)
Once per turn, if this card would be destroyed by battle, it is not destroyed. Once per turn, you can roll a die, and apply one of the following effects based on the result:
-1 or 6: This card can attack directly this turn. When it does, the damage it does is reduced by half, and you can place 1 Venom Counter on a monster your opponent controls.
-2 or 5: Discard one Reptile-type monster from your hand. Place a number of Venom Counters on your opponent's monsters equal to half that monster's level. (For levels such as 3, the number of Venom Counters placed is equal to the further number; ex. 7=3 counters).
-3 or 4: Destroy this card.

3. Venom Moccasin (Reptile/DARK/Effect Lv.3 ATK/1400 DEF/0)
This card cannot be destroyed by battle if it is the one attacking (damage is still applied normally, however). If the opposing monster is not destroyed when this card battles, place a Venom Counter on that monster.

4. Venom Anaconda (Reptile/DARK/Effect Lv.4 ATK/1600 DEF/800)
You can discard this card to add one "Venom Swamp" to your hand from your Deck. This card cannot attack your opponent directly.

5. Venom Snakelet (Reptile/EARTH/Effect Lv.1 ATK/0 DEF/0)
When this card is destroyed, add 1 Reptile-type card with 1000 or less DEF to your hand.

6. Venom Basilisk (Reptile/EARTH/Effect Lv.6 ATK/1000 DEF/1000)
When this card is summoned, you can remove Venom Counters from the field to have this card gain 100 ATK for each one. After this card attacks, place 1 Venom Counter on a monster your opponent controls (if they do control one).

7. Vennominir, Prince of Poisonous Snakes (Reptile/DARK Lv.5 ATK/1200 DEF/2500)
This rocky-scaled guardian of the swamps watches over Vennominon's domain in his absence. He slithers day and night, watching for the clue he needs to awaken the Snake Deity and bring about the recognition of his kind...

8. Venom Python (Reptile/EARTH/Tuner Lv.2 ATK/500 DEF/500)
This card gains 100 ATK for every Venom Counter on the field. If this card is used for the summon of a Reptile/DARK Synchro Monster, add 1 "Venom" card from your Deck or Graveyard to your hand, except "Venom Python". (This can include "Vennominon the King of Poisonous Snakes".)

9. Venom Mamba (Reptile/DARK/Tuner Lv.2 ATK/1300 DEF/1300)
If you control another face-up "Venom" monster, this card cannot be selected as an attack target. If this card is used or the summon of a Reptile/DARK Synchro Monster, you can place 2 Venom Counters on monsters your opponent controls.

9. Knight of Vennominon (Reptile/EARTH/Tuner Lv.3 ATK/1400 DEF/300)
This card is unaffected by the effects of Spell and Trap cards. If this card is used for the summon of a Reptile/DARK Synchro Monster, add 1 Spell or Trap card with "Snake" or "Venom" in its name, or is named "Attack Pheromones".

10. Vennominomma, Paladin of Poisonous Snakes (Reptile/DARK/Synchro/Effect Lv.7
ATK/2000 DEF/1300 )
When this card destroys a monster with 3 or more Venom Counters on it, you can attack with this card once more (immediately). This card is unaffected by the effects of "Venom Swamp".

11. Vennominzu, Warlord of Poisonous Snakes (Reptile/DARK/Synchro/Effect Lv.8
ATK/0 DEF/0)
This card gains 400 ATK for every Venom Counter on the field. Once per turn, you can remove two Venom Counters from anywhere on the field to draw 1 card. This card is unaffected by the effects of "Venom Swamp".

12. Vennominuro, General of Poisonous Snakes (Reptile/DARK/Synchro/Lv.6
ATK/1700 DEF/1700)
This card cannot be destroyed by battle if it is the one attacking, or if the monster it is battling has the same ATK. Place one Venom Counter on a monster your opponent controls every time this card battles. If this card would be destroyed by battle, you can remove 2 Venom Counters to stop this card from being destroyed. If you do so, you cannot place new Venom Counters with this card's effect during this turn.

These are based on a TCG archetype, yes (however small that archetype is)... But this was just an idea.
