Savior Soldier: Effect Check

When your opponent declares a direct attack you can Special Summon this monster from your hand. Negate the effect of all the opponent's monsters until the End Phase.
So even if you didn't Special Summon this card, it still negates the effects of your opponent's monsters during the End Phase, correct?

Actually i'm pretty sure it's just SS'd by its own effect. We should reword it..
