YCM thread (once more?!?!?!)

Well, I've been talking to Ash about reviving the YCM thread once again (not necrobumping).

The reset seems to be a good opportunity to do this.

So, what would you guys like to see in the thread?

Invitation discussion or casual discussion to keep the thread from just dying to the 3rd/4th page.

Also a LCCG Summary for each change.

Like a list of things for the set.

*Card A & Card B banned.
* Card C changed from Limited to Unlimited.
* Card D nerfed.
* Card E buffed.

Also announcement of events (even announcing a week or so before set submissions) because if we announce when things are happening then players might be willing to join.

Keeping an up to date list of the Meta Decks, Staple Cards, Ban-List, and a list showing how many of each type of card we have (spell, trap, monster) might be reasons to attract new viewers.

We also have to explain that we are basically starting from scratch again! This would def. be a reason for new members to join because they don't have a lot of confusing cards to try to learn.

I think it should be revived when we finish the first new set after the reset. We need players more than we do card makers. And we don't need a bunch of newbies submitting horrific cards in the first set, I think. And yes, the thread must be kept up to date with the banlist, as well as possibly a list of generic cards. Not meta decks, because to be frank we don't really have all that much of a meta with a playerbase this small.

Yes, the thread will be posted after the reset is all done and dandy, meaning after the first set are out.

Yes, Leo won't be the one who post this. It's either Ash or me. Anyone else who want to do it are welcome though.

Staple list would be on the OP, same case with the banlist (when we have it). Schedules, and such also will be put in the OP.

It won't be a list of meta deck, it'll be somewhat be a list of commonly used decks so newer players can have a gateway deck to the CCG.

Would a brief history be good?

And we do still need to wait for our brand new logo be finished by Tormented of YCM.

Also, you guys should be active on the thread. I don't want it to be the nth thread in YCM where I seemed to be the only one who kept the thread active.

far too early for a staple/meta list of course but its certainly something to consider

i was planning a history bit as an intro but i lack some knowledge of stonage lccg so it would be a collaborative effort
