Rabid Sheep Empty Rabid Sheep

Rabid Sheep
Attrib: Earth
Type: Beast/Fusion/Effect
Level:1
Atk: 0
Def: 0
1 Token + 1 Token. When this card is Fusion Summoned, add 1 Spell or Trap card which can Fusion Summon monsters from your Graveyard to your Deck, and Draw 2 cards. When a Token battles an opponent's monster, destroy the opponent's monster without applying damage calculation.

It's currently nearly impossible to Fusion Summon, because Tokens can't be sent to the Graveyard and most Fusion Spells require you to send stuff to the graveyard for the cost. Although I'm sure there's some way to make it work, I don't know it at the moment. So if anyone knows anything, just say it... it'll also make ash love you forever

Let's errata Advanced Poly and the rest then - they also wouldn't work with ID Vortex out

Maybe "Tribute" instead of "Send to the Graveyard"

why would we errata every fusion card to make 1 card playable

i feel that changing to tribute would open up a lot of (possibly broken) combos.

It would be the same type of "tributing" as a Ritual Summon, they use "tribute" as a keyword yet I don't see any cards in the LCCG that can abuse the keyword.

i'd compare what i mean to the holy marked dragons in the tcg

with the introduction of a few cards, a lot of cards that tribute take on a whole new perspective

it'd be far simpler to make rabid sheep usable than to completely edit our perspective on an entire way of summoning.

just make a new poly card with the term of tribute i guess. atm errating every fusion spell/trap with the tribute will envoke many possible combos currently and future like ash said. Only Ritual spells are fine as it is for now imo. imagine because of the new archetype, it did change perspective drastically.

I don't want there to just be 1 poly card that can summon Rabid Sheep.... how about just this:

1 Token + 1 Token. The fusion material monsters for this card are treated as being sent to the Graveyard. When this card is Fusion Summoned, add 1 Spell or Trap card which can Fusion Summon monsters from your Graveyard to your Deck, and Draw 2 cards. When a Token battles an opponent's monster, destroy the opponent's monster without applying damage calculation.

Before anyone complains, I know that's not a perfect ruling, but it's the solution that makes the least amount of waves.

Using tokens for fusion is fundamentally flawed. Innovative but extremely complicated.

So once the thread is Resolved and Locked, should we edit the Errata page on the wiki to reflect the changes also?

We usually do the changes during a new set release, so it all gets updated at the same time.
