Put me in your deck
Also trying a new word format.
Asphyxiation
Normal Trap Card
Activate when your opponent attacks: Destroy Spell/Trap cards on the field up to the number of monsters your opponent controls.
---
Let Them Eat Cake
Normal Spell Card
Special Summon 2 "Cake Tokens" (Fairy/LIGHT/Level 1/0/0) to your opponent's side of the field, in Defense Position.
Cake Tokens cannot be destroyed in battle while in Defense Position, and cannot be used in a Tribute or Synchro Summon.
When a Cake Token is attacked: The controller of the attacking monster gains Life Points equal to its ATK.
---
Acidic Gastropod
Aqua | WATER | Level 3
You can Special Summon this card from your Hand or Graveyard by Tributing 1 monster.
Only 1 "Acidic Gastropod" can be summoned this way per turn.
Depending on the level of that monster, this card gains the following effect(s):
3+: Double this card's DEF.
5+: Once per turn, when your opponent summons a monster: Change it to Defense Position and negate its effect(s).
7+: Decrease the ATK and DEF of all monsters your opponent controls by their Level or Rank x200.

Re: Put me in your deck
Acidic Gastropod's 2nd effect is better than it's 3rd effect, although it's DEF is a bit on the low side for a Tribute.
Re: Put me in your deck
I can bump up the DEF to 1250.
Yeah it is, the reasoning behind it is I wanted to make it a little more useful if you just have a Level 5 or 6 monster.

asphyxiation is good
Cake: I do not understand the point of this card? Keeps you from losing LP but gains your opponent LP? IDGI
Gastropod: If its effects stack that is an awesome card.

The tokens are for your opponent's field. So if you attack them, you gain life points.
Gastropod: If its effects stack that is an awesome card. They sure do.
Re: Put me in your deck
I like Asphyxiation. I dunno much about LP gain decks, so I'll withhold judgment on Let Them Eat Cake, although I will mention that I find it's interaction with multiattackers and with piercing damage interesting. Acidic Gastropod seems powerful, although I might be biased because I made a bunch of Aqua cards, including Seabound Dragon, which fulfills it's level conditions quite nicely, and tributing a Seabound Dragon really isn't a big deal since it's not too good after you've used it's effect anyways. I assume there probably is some kinda way to abuse Acidic Gastropod, although I can't think of a really major one right now. Consider making it so Gastro's ss effect can only be activated once per turn, to prevent some possible abuse cases ahead of time.
