How to play without the points system:
* Copy the lccg.set file, paste it in the same folder, name it something else
* Go in and rename Evil Paper Demon (Line 1) to something else (Evil Soap Demon?)
* Save
* In Duel Portal, go to Settings and check that box, and uncheck lccg.

is there something about Evil Paper demon is interfering with DP in any way?

not necessarily, it just uses it to recognize the .set is LCCG.
