Flippin' Hell! Empty Flippin' Hell!

This isn't for ROPE, I just wanted to see if this is ok for the future:

Recon Telecommunications
Machine / EARTH / Level 2 / 500 / 700
When your opponent declares an Attack on a face-up Flip Effect monster, during the Battle Step: You can discard this card to flip the Flip Effect monster into Face-Down Defense position. Then, add 1 "Recon Telecommunications" from your Deck to your Hand.

well it is a question of how often Flip effect lived after being flipped face-up. from my experiences this would look underwhelming to me.

True, the lifespan is short atm.. but i'm trying to make some sort of deck around flip effects. Possibly if you use Cryptophobia and Tactical Offering you can block attacks and then flip a Flip Effect up, then use the effect again.

Losing -1 for an advancely inferior Jar-card. I think if it was a "reveal to flip a FLIP Effect Monster face down" would be more worthwhile.

Or if it was a Continuous Spell Card or something. As it is now, I wouldn't want to discard one whole card to assure the unlikely survival of a FLIP Monster.

The last effect searches another copy so it's more like a +0. But judging by your statements it seems this card would still be underpowered. I'll see what I can do to it later.
