Resolved & Locked Empty Resolved & Locked

Following a discussion with Sif and Darkest Hour, I came across this card which is in need of SERIOUS errata.

Population Increase
Trap Card
Effect: "If a card would be Normal Summoned, Set, or Tribute Summoned: You can Special Summon it instead."

This wording makes the effect endless. You can Special Summon your ENTIRE hand and synchro/xyz to oblivion.

I suggest adding "Once during this turn" to the effect. It's the only way I can think of to change it without altering the effect entirely.

I talked to Dylan, that's not how this card works. The timing is at when you Normal Summon, Set or Tribute Summon a monster, you treat it as a Special Summon instead. Misleading I know, but that's how he intended it.

Even so, it's need an errata to stop the confusion, doesn't it?

I'll go ahead and use Sea's errata.
