With the current effect, it implies two things:
1) There is a small window between the card's activation and the effect's activation, that create a headache in rulings. It goes like Activation -> Insect monster check(Y/N) -> (Y: pay 2000 then effect)/(N: Destroy this card) all as a separate chains.
2) I can activate this when i have 2000 or lower LP to only have the last effect applies.
