Generic Effects
This isn't a staple guide. This is just a list of simple cards with similar effects.
- MST-like:
Name Type Catch Wretched Abyss Normal Spell Banish 1 card in your Graveyard Sanguined Slasher Quickplay Spell Lower 1 of your monster's ATK by 500. Cannonball Lob Normal Spell Tribute 1 monster Splitting Cut Normal Spell Pay 1000 Life Points. Heroes Barging In Quickplay Spell Only when monster(s) are Special Summoned. Scrap Liquidation Normal Spell Opponent chooses. Trap-Setting Dud Normal Spell Face-down only.
- Fissure-Like:
Name Type Catch Depraved Extortion Normal Spell Opponent chooses. Tributes. Ray of Annihilation Normal Spell Only on 1500 ATK or Lower. Works on Facedowns. Endless Dissension Normal Spell Banish 2 cards in your Grave. Must be face-up. Banishes target. Scrap Destruction Quickplay Spell Pay 1500 Life Points. Interdimensional Treaty Normal Spell Discard 1 card. Banishes. Feedback Wave Low-Level Effect Monster You must control 2 or less Spell/Trap cards
- Solemn Warning-Like:
Name Type Catch Betrayal Counter Trap Opponent must control another monster with the same attribute. Explosive Trap Hole Counter Trap Target returned to owner's hand at End Phase Hinderance Counter Trap Banish 1 card you control. Forbidding Tresspass Normal Trap Pay 2000 life points. Target player mills cards = target's level. Scrap Confusion Normal Trap Pay 1000 life points. Only works on Normal Summons.
- Polymerization-like:
Name Type Catch Advanced Polymerization Normal Spell Draw 1 card. The Time and Space Chamber Normal Spell Discard 1 card. Banish from Field/Grave Rotting Fusion Normal Spell Banish from Grave. Monster loses 500 ATK/DEF and effects negated. Lightning Lab Accident Normal Trap Can activate from hand if all materials on the field (Trap) Ghost Fusion Continuous Spell Uses monsters that have been destroyed since players last turn. Monster not destroyed in battle. Immense Polymerization Normal Spell Can summon a monster from Extra Deck listed on fusion by discarding monsters from Extra Deck. Take 500 damage for each. Cold Fusion Quickplay Spell Banishes from Hand/Field/Grave. Fusion cannot be used as material. End Phase, fusion returns to Extra Deck and materials return to previous positions. Gateway of the Abyss Field Spell Must first not control any Fusions. Materials banished. Once per turn can add material for one of their fusions from banished to hand. Fusiocian Low-Level Effect Monster Any Normal Spell in hand can be used as Polymerization.
- D.D. Burial-Like:
Name Type Catch Proper Burial Normal Trap Return any number, but take 100 damage for each Respected Burial Continuous Trap Up to 3 once per turn. Take 500 damage during opponent's end phases Scrap Recovery Normal Spell Returns 2 of any card Dimension Swap Normal Spell Must banish an equal number of Spell/Traps from Graveyard (max. 5)
- Dark Bribe-like:
Name Type Catch Hostile Negotiation Counter Trap Opponent can discard 1 card of the same type (Trap, Spell) to let the card activate Acid Spark Counter Trap Pay 1500 LP. Dry Freeze Counter Trap Negates monster effects too. Flips card face-down. Mirror Shot Counter Trap Discard 1 card. Transient Distortion Counter Trap Return 3 of your banished cards to your deck Vengeful Souls Counter Trap Banish 3 monsters from your Graveyard. Sets itself back on the field.

Yes you are all right. I will edit accordingly.
@DH - Imma put it into the Fissure-Like category. True it is like Dark Core but I think all generic spell monster removal should go in 1 place.
