Blizzard. I think it should be a Staple.

Hardly needs a guide, but I think this card deserves mention.

Y'know how Royal Oppression is a fantastic card? I daresay Blizzard is better.

Example's are rife, as there are a few decks in LCCG that can summon a lot of monsters in 1 turn - Fill your field, (Synch quick?) then lock your opponent down to 1 monster a turn. Search a Counter Trap while you're at it. Hinderance, Double Crossers, Requiem, Betrayal, there are good targets.

Unlike Oppression, this does more than cut off SS, it works on everything. And has no maintenance cost.

I think there's been talk of it being a side-deck possibility, and also talk of there being very few good generic Traps.

I think I'm going to start putting this in my Main Deck a lot more.

The point is, Blizzard can be good in some- if not most -decks. However, several heavy swarm decks would hate it.

i.e. Interdimensionals. You can't get your free Skullblade summons and the deck goes downhill

2. It can be good in most decks. That was the reason for the thread. It could easily be a staple. Heavy swarm decks are the most likely to make use of it IMO. Why can TCG decks effectively use a card like Oppression? For the very reason I stated earlier, fill out your field, then lock/slow down your opponent's summons.

3. Skullblade is no longer as useful as it was. It is a nice card for them to have, but now that they can't churn out 2 in 1 turn, whatever effect Blizzard did have has been dampened somewhat.
