Card Submission Deck Tournament
Because due to the lack of activities to do, and the lack of scheduled set-ups and the like, the great macrocosm has gifted to me a wonderful idea...
a CSDT.
In other words, instead of waiting for the new set to come out and play with our completed CCG cards, we get right down to a CSDT and play with the cards we made against each other to kill time and test cards in YVD.
So the general guidelines are, everyone makes 10 cards that they want to create and play with in the Tournament, and they submit the 10 in this thread. Everyone participating can review them, see if there are any exploitable things within or if they would unbalance anything to the point of sheer absurdity. Since these aren't being submitted into an official set yet, some leniency is okay to see how far a certain card effect and what not can go when tested, but keep in mind that overpowered cards are going to make people iffy about playing with you and the tournament isn't completely about winning anything, and it's a platform to test new cards in while waiting for the next set. So there's no need to make a ton of tier 1 cards right off the bat since there is plenty of time to tweak and balance them, no pressure behind losing.

It sounds interesting, but are the cards going into the set eventually? If so I can see a potential problem since 10 cards per person is like, the perfect size for archetypes (and if you're going to make a deck in a tournament out of it, everyone will make archetypes)

I don't control the sets so I don't decide that, this is a separate thing.
Because ever have that moment where you realize all the cards you made will never get into the set, but you want to try them out anyway to see how they would work against the other confirmed set cards?

Nobody has played with the TEST yvds from what I know. I made it and then everyone quickly forgot about it except me.

Well if you are okay with YVD not being able to directly support them, but you can in theory add them in. I just don't think you can select them in Advanced Search.

Well tbh, they should be remake as SID cards (Subtype In Disguise) . like my Fusion monsters they're potentially a Subtype I made over a year ago as Transcend Monsters that break the rule of Original ATK.
