Post by Anime Girl References on Sat Jul 09, 2011 8:14 pm

Due to recent events I have decided to drop the last 3 monsters and Withergore Ghast for the following cards:

|Reprimo Halcyon|XXX|ZAUG|Spell Card|Spell|Normal||||For the remainder of the duel, neither player can Special Summon more than once per turn.|

||Goannai|XXX|ZAUG|Trap Card|Trap|Counter||||Negate the Special Summon of an opponent's monster and destroy it. Your opponent cannot Special Summon any monsters with the same name as the Summoned monster until the end of your opponent's 4th End Phase. During your End Phase, if this card is in your Graveyard, you can pay 1000 Life Points to add it to your hand.||

||Grimguard Ranseur|XXX|ZAUG|Trap Card|Trap|Normal||||Activate one of the following effects: ●Negate the effect(s) of all Special Summoned monsters your opponent controls until the End Phase. They cannot be used as Synchro, Xyz or Fusion Material, cannot be Tributed, or removed from the field for the Summon or Set of a monster. ●Inflict damage to the opponent's Life Points equal to the total combined ATK of all monsters your opponent Special Summoned this turn.●Your opponent cannot Special Summon monsters this turn.||
[/spoiler]

|Grimoire of Enchanted Slaughter|XXX|ZAUG|Spell Card|Spell|Quickplay||||Destroy all Special Summoned monsters on the field. During the End Phase, you can remove from play this card in your Graveyard to add 1 Spell or Trap card from your deck to your hand with the word "Negate" or "Destroy", and "Special Summon" in it's card text.|

Is this enough anti-swarm, S/T improvement?

You should change it to "Your opponent reveals all face-down cards they control." 2 is almost nothing and a very weak effect.

|Seahorse Knight|0|ACRD|Sea Serpent/Gemini/Effect|Water|4||1300|1500|This card is treated as a Normal Monster while face-up on the field or in the Graveyard. While this card is face-up on the field, you can Normal Summon it to have it be treated as an Effect Monster with this effect: This card's original ATK becomes 2400.|

Seahorse's effect is too weak. It's only as effective as Goggle Golem, except with a little more attack, and not only that, you have to use a Normal summon just for an attack boost and a beatstick, I think you should add a little more to it, like Trap Defense or removal negation or something.

|Coral Snake|0|ACRD|Sea Serpent/Effect|Water|4||1600|1500|You can discard this card to add 1 "Coral Caverns" from your Deck to your hand. If this card is face-up on the field but "Coral Caverns" is not, destroy this card.|

I don't see why it should be destroyed if Coral Caverns isn't on the field if it has regular stats. The only reason they added the "Destroy it if said card isn't face up" part is because most of those fetcher cards were above 2000 ATK.

It's "Card(s)", so that means even if you reveal 10000 cards at once, you still just draw 1 card.

I'll get to the other cards soon. Busy busy busy D:

Flashes make this thing absurd. Drop to one effect gained.

|Macabre Withergore Ghast|???|???|Zombie/Effect|WATER|3||1400|1100|During your Main Phase 1, you can remove from play this card on the field. When this removed from play card is Special Summoned, you can Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower monster from your Graveyard to your side of the field. at the end of your opponent's Battle Phase, you can Special Summon this removed from play card.|

Very nice card. 'Nuff said.

|Blightscour Death Driver|???|???|Zombie/Effect|LIGHT|4||1400|1600|Each of these effects can be activated once per turn: *Return any number of cards in your hand to the deck and draw the same amount of cards you sent to the deck. *Discard 1 card. Add 1 Zombie-type monster from your Graveyard to your hand. *Discard 1 card. Negate 1 face-up monster's effect until the opponent's End Phase.|

Perhaps a little too much on one card, IMO. Not that there's anything wrong with it atm. Good for getting out of shitty hands.

|Supremacy of the Lichwyrm|XXX|ZAUG|Spell Card|Spell|Normal||||Activate one of the following effects: *Reveal the top card of your deck. If it is a Zombie-type monster, Draw 2 cards. *Return 1 of your removed from play Zombie-type monsters to the top of your Deck. *Destroy all Special Summoned monsters on the field.|

I'd drop the last effect. Easily turns into Dark Hole.

|Twisters of the Deathnether|XXX|ZAUG|Trap Card|Trap|Counter||||Remove from play 1 Zombie-type monster on your side of the field or in your Graveyard. Negate the activation of an Effect Monster's effect and destroy it. When you Normal Summon a Zombie-type monster, you can add this card to your hand by paying 500 Life Points.|

Errata to have it return from the Grave or something. I don't want cards bringing themselves from Deck to hand for near non-existent costs. Aside from that, looks OK.

|Phantasm of the Red Moon|XXX|ZAUG|Spell Card|Spell|Normal||||Select 1 Zombie-type monster in your Graveyard. Special Summon the selected monster from your Graveyard and lose 200 Life Points x the level of the Selected Monster. You do not lose Life Points from this card's effect if you Special Summon a level 4 or lower monster.|

Cursed Moonlight becomes obsolete. Tbh, I'd like an effect negation on anything Level 5 or higher.

|Transcending Curse of Forced Slumber|XXX|TRCR|Trap Card|Trap|Normal||||Flip 1 face-up monster on the field into face-down Defense Position. After this card is sent to the Graveyard or is resolved successfully, select 1 "Transcending Curse" Trap Card in your deck and set it on the field.|

Nox <3. Card is fine.

|Transcending Curse of Armor Leprosy|XXX|TRCR|Trap Card|Trap|Normal||||Reduce the ATK of 1 face-up monster on the field by half. After this card is sent to the Graveyard or is resolved successfully, select 1 "Transcending Curse" Trap Card in your deck and set it on the field.|

Shrink is fine.

|Transcending Curse of Aimless Wandering|XXX|TRCR|Trap Card|Trap|Counter||||Activate only as Chain Link 3 or higher. All other card's effect(s) in the current chain become "This card is sent to the Graveyard." After this card is sent to the Graveyard or is resolved successfully, select 1 "Transcending Curse" Trap Card in your deck and set it on the field.|

Very nice.

|Transcending Curse of Bonelock|XXX|TRCR|Trap Card|Trap|Normal||||Activate this card when your opponent would enter their Battle Phase. End the Battle Phase immediately. After this card is sent to the Graveyard or is resolved successfully, select 1 "Transcending Curse" Trap Card in your deck and set it on the field.|

This one's a bit bland, but fine anyway.

|Transcending Curse of the Exploding Heart|XXX|TRCR|Trap Card|Trap|Normal||||Activate this card when your opponent Normal or Special Summons a monster. If that monster would declare an attack, it is destroyed after damage calculation. After this card is sent to the Graveyard or is resolved successfully, select 1 "Transcending Curse" Trap Card in your deck and set it on the field.|

Fine.

|Transcending Curse of Facetwisting|XXX|TRCR|Trap Card|Trap|Normal||||Negate the activation of a Effect Monster's effect until the End Phase. When this card is sent to the Graveyard or resolves successfully, select 1 "Transcending Curse" Trap Card in your deck and set it on the field.|

Good effect negater is good.

|Transcending Curse of the Rotting Eyes|XXX|TRCR|Trap Card|Trap|Normal||||When you activate this card, declare 1 card name. Your opponent discards all copies of the declared card from their hand. When this card is sent to the Graveyard or resolves successfully, select 1 "Transcending Curse" Trap Card in your deck and set it on the field.|

That's a tasty one. Good side-deck material too.

|Transcending Cursenchanting|XXX|TRCR|Spell Card|Spell|Normal||||Select up to 3 "Transcending Curse" Trap Cards in your Graveyard and return them to the deck.|

Good back-up for the Traps. No need to say more.

|Vicious Accelerator|XXX|TRCR|Trap Card|Trap|Normal||||Activate this card during your Draw Phase. If the card you would draw would be a monster, it is Special Summoned to the field. If it is a Spell, it is treated as Spell Speed 2 and activated immediately. If it is a Trap Card, it is activated from your hand immediately. If the activation or Summoning conditions of the card are incorrect, their effect(s) are negated and the card(s) are destroyed. During the End Phase, you can send 1 card on your side of the field to the Graveyard to Set this card on the field.|

Very interesting. Can use with Supremacy of the Lichwyrm to put a Zombie on top of the Deck then drop it back on the field. Probably some other way of rigging the next card on top of your deck, but I can't think of a way. Good, if situational, card.

|Essence Violation|XXX|TRCR|Trap Card|Trap|Normal||||Select 1 monster you control and 1 monster your opponent controls. The opponent's monster loses it's effect, and your monster gains the opponent's monster's effect. When this face-down card is destroyed, draw 1 card.|

Just a very nice card. Nice little bonus, too.

|Overstorm Lessaloploth|???|???|Winged-Beast/Effect|WATER|7||2600|1750|This card is also treated as WIND. You can Special Summon this card by removing from play 2 WATER or WIND monsters from your Hand or Graveyard. Once per turn, you can discard 1 WATER monster to reduce the ATK of all non-WATER monsters on the field by 1500. Once per turn, you can discard 1 WIND monster from your hand to return 2 face-up cards on the field to their owner's hands.|

|Essence Souldriver|???|???|Psychic/Effect|LIGHT|4||1700|1150|When your opponent would remove from play a card in the duel by a card effect or cost, you can negate the card's removal to draw 1 card. Once per turn, if your opponent would destroy a monster you control by battle, if you have 1 or more cards removed from play, that card is not destroyed. If this card is destroyed by battle, you can remove it from play to add 1 removed from play "Essence" monster to your hand.|

|Essence Etherbreaker|???|???|Fairy/Effect|LIGHT|4||1700|1600|Everytime a card in your Graveyard, field or hand is removed from play by a card effect, your opponent must remove from play 1 card on their side of the field.|

The bolded ones are cards that haven't been approved yet, the non-bolded ones are those who have been already approved from other threads.

All look OK, except for those little bits on Lichwyrm, Kimiari, Twisters and Phantasm. But that's just my opinion. Razz

Transcending Curses look like fun to play with.

I'll look at Aqua's after I've had a cuppa.

Almost forgot about these. o:

|Reprimo Halcyon|XXX|ZAUG|Spell Card|Spell|Normal||||For the remainder of the duel, neither player can Special Summon more than once per turn.|

Looks a little heavy. Lack of S/T negation means this could easily just kill a deck off before it can do, well, anything. It's like Final Countdown, once the effect goes through, there's no stopping it. |:

Not sure if want.

More self-recycling. With an effect that heavy, I'm not sure it should keep coming back like that.

Very flexible. I think the first effect can be toned down, personally. Perhaps till the End Phase?

|Grimoire of Enchanted Slaughter|XXX|ZAUG|Spell Card|Spell|Quickplay||||Destroy all Special Summoned monsters on the field. During the End Phase, you can remove from play this card in your Graveyard to add 1 Spell or Trap card from your deck to your hand with the word "Negate" or "Destroy", and "Special Summon" in it's card text.|

Another Dark Hole, eww. More searching for no cost, eww. I personally can't back this. Neutral

Is this enough anti-swarm, S/T improvement?

There's improvement, and then there's overcompensating for lack of Anti-Swarm. These fall into the latter, IMO.

Easy to SS beatstick that can be used in and sided against Decks that play plenty of Continuous S/T's. Kewl.

|Coral Caverns|0|ACRD|Spell Card|Spell||Field|||Once per turn, you can move this card to an empty Spell or Trap Card zone. Whirlpool Control.dek

Can't see much use otherwise. :/

|Coral Snake|0|ACRD|Sea Serpent/Effect|Water|4||1600|1500|You can discard this card to add 1 "Coral Caverns" from your Deck to your hand. If this card is face-up on the field but "Coral Caverns" is not, destroy this card.|

Decent Gemini is decent. Only decent though, cuz, you know. Gemini's are as slow as fuck, especially here.

|Seahorse Knight|0|ACRD|Sea Serpent/Gemini/Effect|Water|4||1300|1500|This card is treated as a Normal Monster while face-up on the field or in the Graveyard. Bland beatstick is bland.

|Psy-Block||ACRD|Trap Card|Trap|||||Until your next End Phase, all Effect Monster's Effect(s) are negated.|

More generic monster effect negation. Kewl.

|Psychoblast|0|ACRD|Trap Card|Trap|||||Send 1 face-up monster to the Graveyard. Your opponent gains Life Points equal to it's Level times 500.|

Generic removal that kills crap in Fallen Saviour.dek
I like it, but idk if the others want it. :T

|Psychosis|0|ACRD|Trap Card|Trap|||||Activate only during the End Phase of the turn that your opponent Special Summoned a monster(s). Draw 1 card for each monster Special Summoned this turn.|

Maxx "C" but better. Solid card.

|Psycrush|0|ACRD|Trap Card|Trap|||||Activate only when your declares an attack. Destroy all Special Summoned monsters, and neither player can Special Summon monsters until their second End Phase after this card's activation.|

It's Fossil Dyna as a Trap. Awesome.

All looks pretty solid, but idk if people want Psychoblast. If it get's in though, surely Diabolus can come off the ban list rite?
