Something More

It's been hinted at before, but from what DH said I can agree this place is a little stale. I didn't want to start until I had everything ready but we can start now, if it will keep activity.


LCCG: The Game

This can be our project. Something to immortalize everything we've done here.

We need lots of things, and everyone can contribute in some way.

* Maps
* Sprites
* Coding
* Card Scripting
* Card Images
* Storyline, Characters
* Soundtracks
* AI Decks
* Playtesting
* Promoters
* Idea People
Etc....

This will, hopefully, give us some notoriety, more importantly, bring us together (kumbaya...)

We can have members be characters, using cards they made.
For example, EMSOUP could be some kind of tournament player who uses rainbow fusion.
Ash could use Noxes
Leo uses wind synchro
DH uses Warsworn Mementos
stuff like that

Yes, now this place can be more than just submitting, testing, submitting and testing. We have a whole new frontier to explore. *Insert inspirational words here*  Yeah.

RPGMaker? Something else? This seems interesting, but we need more people for several of the jobs(coding, spriting, and mapping comes to mind).

I could work with mapping, as long as I have something already sprited. I can't make images or code to save my life.

I can help with coding, maybe.

@ EMSOUP - If you could find a version of RPG Maker that just does the maps / sprites in some kind of normal image format, that would be great. We won't be able to use it for coding.

Also, LCCG Club could be a gang from domino city (5D's generation) and you are playing as a new member trying to work his way into the gang.

Has a code been decided on?

@ Ash, Soup, Dylan - You can have whatever deck you'd like
There are just two things:
* The game can be "released" in "chapters" that correspond to the Set order (ENIL, FLFS, etc..) . So you can't have Icevale or Rainbow Fusion immediately, not until that chapter of the game is released.
* Since most likely you'll be AIs we can't have it be too hard for newbies. But I guess this depends on how good the AI is.

@ Dylan - It doesn't have to be related to the Anime, but that idea is way better than anything I could come up with.

@ DH - Unless RPGMaker allows us to integrate another language (for the Duel Field), it's incompatible. It will be C#, unless there's something better.

I wasn't intending it to be related to the anime, I was just saying that that is the theme.

So basically everyone needs to make 13 decks, one for when each set was released >.<
