Megalo Stagbeetle OTK

Requirements: 1 arachne, 1 level 3 insect in your hand/grave, a level 4 insect in your hand/grave.

Summon arachne, discard the level 3/4 insect, summon Megalosquito from the deck. Megalo summon the level 3, then Xyz with arachne into Heavy Armored Stagbeetle. Summon the xyz'd megalo, then use its effect to the level 4 insect from the grave. Synch into Compact Earth Tortoise, use effect on Megalo, special summon it. Use Megalo's effect on the level 3, then megalo xyzs with the level 4 for another beetle, summoning the level 4. Field is now Tortoise, 2x beetle(with 1 getting buffed), a level 3 monster, and a level 4 monster, which is enough for an OTK. And I'm sure there's another way to mess with tortoise, Megalo, and beetle. Megalo can also target another copy of itself for lulz.

I don't think Megalo or Tortoise are the problems here, more so Stagbeetle and Arachne for making it super accessible and re-usable multiple times within the same turn.

Dawn can't bring back Tuners.

Without shit like Arachne and Stagbeetle, there are relatively few ways to drop Megalo at all. Tortoise as a card has always been fine and Megalo can do very little without the accessibility your cards have given it.

Ah, apparently I'm quintposted out of mistake. And yeah, seems to overlook the fact that Dawn can't summon tuners. So, what'll get hit?

I feel like Arachne is too strong an enabler as it gives access to a large amount of combos and triggers a Megalo to boost to 7. It has OTK applications outside Megalo as well. For that matter, so does Stagbeetle, which I feel should be nerfed to not Special Summoning a material.

They are what enable the easy recycling and searching I feel, whereas Tortoise itself is much less threatening and accessible and Megalo is Insect support with actual conditions to meet.

Arachne to 0-1 and Mech nerf?
