Lay an Egg
Lay an Egg
Group: Spell Card
Type: Spell
Set 1 Level 4 or lower Reptile-type monster in your Deck. It cannot be flipped face-up this turn, except by a card effect. You cannot Normal Summon this turn.
couple things i'm unsure of.
1. can you set a monster and then activate this or vice-versa
2. can you activate multiple copies per turn
i think the game states only 1 normal summon/set per turn, but i'm unsure if this card will take over your set for the turn, hence the no normal summon or act like a double summon and permit you to set via effect in addition to a regular set.
i'm guessing if it does work in that you set via effect rather than normal set, you'll be able to activate multiple copies but i like clarification.

I'd say 'yes' to both. It sounds as if it's a Special Summon in F/D Defense

yes to both. Given Normal Summon and Set aren't entirely tied to each other but it just allow you to choose one of them for free once during your turn
